The International Youth Center – Burgas hosted a training session with the participation of young people from Poland, Germany and Bulgaria. The activity was titled “Europe through our eyes” and it took place as part of an international youth exchange under the Erasmus+ program.
The
main goal of the training was to give young people from different countries the
opportunity to get to know each other, work together and create projects that
promote connection and understanding among youth in Europe.
The
first part of the program was dedicated to introducing the participants to one
another. Through an interactive ice-breaking game, they had the chance to learn
more about each other and about their perspectives on various topics.
After
the introductory part, the main task of the training began. Participants were
challenged to develop projects that would symbolically build
“bridges” between young people from different European countries. They
continued to work in small groups, where they brainstormed ideas for mutual connection
and support.
The
working atmosphere was calm and focused on achieving the common goal. The
participants managed to find a common language and demonstrated that when there
is openness and dialogue, collaboration becomes a natural process.
The
training concluded with presentations of the project ideas, reflecting the
participants desire to build a more connected, supportive and empathetic youth
community.
Participation
in such international initiatives gives young people not only the chance to
meet peers from other countries but also to develop teamwork skills,
intercultural communication and to generate new ideas for a better future.
