Burgas Municipality announces job positions for coordinators and organizers of youth activities. The positions are on the occasion of the implementation of the goals set out in the Memorandum concluded between the Municipality of Burgas and UNICEF Bulgaria: “UNICEF Bulgaria and the Municipality of Burgas – together in support of vulnerable children and youth”, financed within the framework of the Basic Agreement for Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria, The UN Children’s Fund and the Country Program for the period 2023-2027.
The main goal of the project is to improve the well-being of children and youth, social inclusion of vulnerable children and families and their active inclusion in the social and cultural life of Burgas through various innovative activities.
There are four new positions – Youth Activities Coordinator, Digital Content Youth Worker, Community Coordinator and Psychologist. They must develop a municipal plan for youth policy, prepare various events, meet with volunteers, school and student councils, maintain contacts with partner organizations, share content on the website and on the Facebook page “Burgas likes youth”.
The required application documents are a motivational letter in free text (up to 1 page), a curriculum vitae in Bulgarian and/or English (up to 2 pages), in the Europass format according to the sample available at: https://europass.cedefop.europa.eu /editors/bg/cv/compose and a copy of a diploma for an acquired educational qualification, as well as certificates/diplomas certifying language competences, participation in project/volunteer activities.
The documents should be submitted, no later than February 24, 2023, at the office of the Municipality of Burgas at 26 Aleksandrovska Street, every weekday from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 17.00 hours.
