Do you have an idea for an engaging, interactive activity for young people in English? Would you like to organise a workshop, discussion or something completely different and share your skills with young people from across Europe? The European Parliament is inviting youth organisations and informal groups to organise activities as part of the EYE2027 programme.
The European Youth Event (EYE) takes place every two years, bringing together thousands of young people aged 16 – 30 from across Europe. The event offers a diverse programme of discussions, debates, workshops, concerts and other activities, giving participants the opportunity to exchange ideas about Europe’s present and future with Members of the European Parliament, politicians, experts and other young people.
The next edition of EYE will take place on 18 and 19 June 2027 in Strasbourg, France. The programme will focus on four key themes related to the work of the European Parliament: quality of life, competitiveness, security and EU values.
As part of the European Parliament’s open call, youth organisations and informal groups can propose events and activities to be included in the official EYE2027 programme at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
To participate, applicants must form an organising team of 8 – 10 people. The team does not have to belong to a registered organisation. Proposals for interactive workshops must include at least two facilitators, while artistic and creative activities must involve at least two performers.
Applicants must be residents of an EU Member State, an EU candidate country or the United Kingdom. Team members must be aged 16 – 30 as of 18 June 2027. Only the group leader and deputy group leader may be over 30, and both must be adults.
Selected proposals will receive financial support from the European Parliament ranging from €400 to €550 per person, depending on the distance between the participant’s place of residence and Strasbourg. The funding is intended to partially cover travel, accommodation and subsistence costs. Each member of an approved team will receive the funding and be responsible for arranging and paying for their own bookings.
The application deadline is midnight on 16 October 2026.
