The International Youth Centre is situated in Burgas' largest residential area, Meden Rudnik. The location is convenient and easily accessible both by public and private transportation. The built-up area of 1,153 sq. m. consists of a parking lot, multifunctional spaces, recreation areas and areas for informal cultural and educational activities. The ground floor holds a cafeteria, and the second floor includes a 35-bed facility for guest speakers and participants in national and international events. The building meets the Council of Europe's standards for accessible environment for people with reduced mobility.
In the end of April 2024, the Burgas Municipality successfully implemented Project № BGLD-2.001-0002 – the establishment of the Burgas International Youth Centre under the Local Development, Poverty Reduction, and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups Program, funded by the 2014–2021 European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA FM). Following a decision by the Municipal Council of Burgas, the International Youth Cultural Centre Municipal Enterprise was established, uniting the potential of Burgas’s two existing youth centres: the International Youth Centre and the Cultural Youth Center.
