Burgas youth present Pierrot – the new voice of theatre culture

On August 29 at 6:00 PM at the International Congress Center (at the Marine Station), the youth project “Pierrot” will be officially presented. It was entirely created by four students from Burgas and represents an online platform that provides detailed information about all theatre performances across the country.

Its goal is to make theatre more accessible to young people and to encourage active dialogue within the theatre community, giving every registered user the opportunity to share opinions, comments, reviews, or critiques about past performances.

A few months ago, the young team won funding for their project in the amount of 4,548 BGN in the category #BeLocal – Culture, Art, and Historical Heritage from Lidl Bulgaria’s largest corporate social responsibility initiative “You and Lidl for Our Tomorrow”, in partnership with the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation and the Bulgarian Donors Forum.

The four students are mentored by the team of the Youth International Center in Burgas, who support them in carrying out their idea and guide them towards achieving their goals.
