Children’s Dance School “Zelenika”

Founded on May 2, 2022, “Zelenika” is one of the few clubs in Bulgaria dedicated to preserving traditional Bulgarian dance in its authentic form. Drawing from historical archives and local experts, the club revives forgotten dance patterns from our rich folklore heritage.
In addition to the main club, a newly established children’s dance school follows principles of physical development, regional dance authenticity, and high-quality stage performance.
About the Founder:
🎭 Yani Angelov – A professional Bulgarian dance performer, he graduated from National School of Folk Arts “Filip Kutev” – Kotel in 2017 and earned a Master’s degree in Art Management from Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev” – Plovdiv in 2021. Currently, he is a performer with Professional Folk Dance Ensemble “Strandzha” – Burgas, a dance instructor, and a guest choreographer for various ensembles in Bulgaria.
The rehearsals of the Children’s Dance School “Zelenika” are held every Saturday and Sunday at 14:00 at the Youth International Center – Burgas.
