One of the most famous Bulgarian cyber security experts, Yasen Tanev, visited Burgas at the invitation of the International Youth Center. In the one-day seminar “Privacy in the Digital Age” he introduced the audience to the negative sides of free access to the Internet and what dangers lie there.
What is digital hygiene? What does personal data include and how can we protect ours online? What are our data obligations? What dark superpowers lurk on the web and how can we protect ourselves? These were some of the topics discussed during the “Privacy in the Digital Age” seminar.
During the event, ideas also arose that the Youth International Center-Burgas will try to implement in the future. One of them is “cyber security” training among young people from vulnerable groups, so that they can recognize the dangers in the virtual space and protect themselves from possible threats, such as human trafficking and labor exploitation.
