In the period 01-04 May, representatives of the 8 Centers in the National Network of Youth Centers, Local Development Programme, COIDUEM/ Center for Educational Integration of Children and Students visited the Lisbon Youth Center – an institution with a Quality Mark from the Council of Europe.
The work visit was useful not only because of the shared experience and new contacts, but also because of the opportunity to follow the synergy between structure, function and impact in the field of youth policies in an EU country.
For the first time, leaders of youth centers and representatives of the local government were at the same time in the same place: ideas and plans for the future arose! The municipality of Burgas was represented by Maria Salabasheva, director of the Youth International Center – Burgas and Yordanka Ananieva – Deputy Mayor of Education, Health Care, Social Activities and Youth Policies.
