We are happy that, together with our partners from the “Beach Volley Burgas” beach volleyball club, we were able to organize such an event in our city. We believe that the tournament will become a tradition and will spark young people’s interest in this sport.
A total of 13 schools from Burgas participated in the competition, in both the boys’ and girls’ categories:
GEO Milev English Language High School, Goethe German Language High School, Acad. Nikola Obreshkov Math and Science High School, St. Nikola Maritime and Fishing Vocational School, the Trade High School, Yordan Yovkov Secondary School, Kolyo Ficheto Construction and Architecture High School, Konstantin Petkanov Secondary School, Bishop Konstantin Preslavski Secondary School, Vocational School of Computer Programming and Innovation, Acad. Nikola Zhelinski Chemistry and Technology High School, Georgi S. Rakovski Romance Languages High School, and the Transport Vocational High School.
In the boys’ competition, first place was won by the Trade High School team, followed by Kolyo Ficheto Construction and Architecture High School and Acad. Nikola Obreshkov Math and Science High School.
In the girls’ category, the gold medals went to Goethe German Language High School. Second and third places were taken by Georgi S. Rakovski Romance Languages High School and the Trade High School, respectively.
All teams received certificates of participation, and the winners also received awards. Individual players were also recognized:

The matches were full of emotion, drama, and a strong will to win.
The games were played over two days — May 31 and June 1 — on the courts of “Burgas Beach Arena.”
The participants expressed a desire for more such tournaments to be organized, as they believe that beach volleyball should be further developed and promoted among the youth in Burgas.
