Virtual Reality and Archaeology: Scientific Forum at the Robotics Festival in Burgas

On April 25 and 26, the Congress Center in Burgas will bring together technology, science, and history as part of the Robotics Festival. In addition to competitions featuring over 800 young talents, visitors will be able to take part in a scientific forum with free admission in Hall “Foros.”

The program includes screenings of documentary films and meetings with their creators. On Saturday at 10:00 AM, Ladislav Tsvetkov will present “Mission Black Sea,” followed by a discussion with scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Journalist Maria Cherneva will talk about underwater archaeology in “In Search of Sunken Worlds.”

Visitors will have the opportunity to “dive” virtually to ancient shipwrecks using VR technology, as well as learn about the work of archaeologists through a demonstration by the Regional History Museum – Burgas.

At the same time, robotics competitions, LEGO exhibitions, interactive games, a concert by the band “TSVET,” and prize raffles will take place.

The event is organized by the Center for Creative Training, the “Future Inventors” Foundation, and the Municipality of Burgas, with the mission of inspiring young people to pursue science and technology. More information: https://www.fll.bg/
