International Youth Center – Burgas held a National Debate Tournament in partnership with the Bulgarian Debate Association. The event took place at Petko Rosen High School and lasted for two days.
The debates were filled with sharp wit, logic, and well-reasoned arguments! The young participants discussed serious topics such as social policies and volunteering. They delved into science fiction, life partnerships, and weighed the significance of local versus global contributions to humanity.
Participants came from Shumen, Varna, Sofia, Burgas, and Sliven, with a total of 12 teams competing in the event.
The tournament cup, as well as the awards for the best debaters, were won by students from the American College of Sofia, after an impressive final in front of an audience at the Grand Hall of the International Youth Center – Burgas.
