Another school got to know the activities and team of Youth International Center-Burgas!
We express our gratitude to the management of Vocational high school of mechano-electrical engineering and electronics – Burgas and its director eng. Roza Zheleva, for the opportunity to hold our trainings at the educational institution!
We talked with students from grades 8-12 at the high school on the following topics:
-Financial literacy
-Presentation skills
-Preparation of a resume
In addition to the newly acquired knowledge, the students also expressed a desire to organize activities together in different areas.
Our joint work with Vocational high school of mechano-electrical engineering and electronics – Burgas is already a fact. Just last year, together with graduates of the school and “Green Strandzha” Association, we visited and cleaned areas near the village of Brashlyan. The idea came entirely from the students themselves, who sought assistance for its realisation from our center.
During the second term, we will also conduct trainings with the other classes in the high school, which we have not been able to meet so far, in order to hear their ideas and proposals for youth initiatives.
The International Youth Center is implemented under the project “Creation of the Burgas International Youth Center”, which is implemented with the financial support of the “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Improved Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups” program of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM ) 2014-2021.
